This expriments were carried out to find the effect of priming on aged seeds, and of the addition of growth regulators to the priming solution for pepper seeds. Priming the aged seeds did improve percent germination at 15¡É and 35¡É. Aging treatment after priming significantly reduced percent germination at 15¡É and 35¡É, Addition of 100 ppm gibberellic acid (GA©ý) to 200 mM K©ýPO©þ solution resulted in a higher percent germination and shorter T_(50) (days to 50¡É of the final germination percentage) when the seeds were , germinated at 15¡É and 35¡É. However, the effectiveness of adding GA©ý differed depending on cultivars. Benzyladanine (BA) alone, or in combination with GA©ý in imbibing solution, decreased percent germination and increased the T_(50).
